Within the framework of the execution of Project CUI No. 2314883: "CEINCAFÉ", the INDES-CES of the UNTRM, in joint work agreements with 7 coffee growers from the Amazonas Region, implemented demonstration plots in the districts of Chiliquín, Huambo, Lonya Grande, Pisuquia, Providencia, San Francisco and San Nicolás; since May 2021, where the field adaptability of the varieties and hybrids introduced from Costa Rica and others already established in Peru have been evaluated: Milenio, Casiopea, Excelencia, H3 L13A22, and Marsellesa.

After two years, our Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza National University has managed to obtain the first crops and genetic material ready for tasting. This will allow us to carry out future research that contributes to the sustainability of coffee cultivation at all stages of production, from harvest to post-harvest, and also in aspects such as bean quality, sales and marketing.
