To promote academic, scientific, technical, and research training activities, the President of the Universidad Nacional Toribio Rodriguez de Mendoza de Amazonas, Dr. Jorge Luis Maicelo Quintana, and Dr. Margarida de Aquino Cunha, President of the Universidade Federal Do ACRE - UFAC of Brazil, signed a five-year academic interinstitutional cooperation agreement.

This agreement aims to exchange undergraduate and graduate students and professors, develop higher education programs, attend conferences and seminars, and participate in academic semesters. It also seeks cooperation in developing graduate programs and participating in exchange research activities involving the academic community of both universities, as well as complementing and supporting extension programs (advisory services, special courses, and consulting).

Academic cooperation with this international university will allow the transfer of knowledge and experience in teaching, research, extension, university administration, and human resources training.
