North Carolina State University and UNTRM sign agreement to strengthen master's and doctoral programs

With the firm objective of being the leading university in scientific research and internationally accredited and recognizing the importance of establishing scientific and cultural relationships between internationally prestigious higher education institutions, UNTRM signed a cooperation agreement with the University of North Carolina of the United States, to strengthen academic programs and research activities in the creation, management and strengthening of master's and doctoral programs in agricultural sciences, environmental sciences and life sciences.

 With the signing of this agreement, UNTRM and NC State University will strengthen the Science for Sustainable Development Doctorate program, research and collaborative academic publications; executed by faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows; allowing the exchange of publications, the co-supervision of doctoral theses, the exchange of academic staff for teaching, conferences and seminars, as well as the exchange of administrative staff.

This agreement, which is valid for five years, will also allow the mobility and exchange of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students, with special reference to doctoral students to develop study programs abroad and summer schools.

This agreement with North Carolina State University makes visible the efforts of the Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza National University to achieve international standards of excellence. Being recognized globally consolidates UNTRM as an institution committed to academic and research quality.
